We were chating a bit about codiene and feeling blah this morning. It's so cheap in Canada over thecounter. I used to live in Blane Wa. and I could drive over the border and get them. No problem.

We could do so much better in this country.

Readie just gave me what we hope was an ibuprofen from her bag.

I think codeine is the least of our worries as far as issues with our country is lol

New dissertation idea: Why is Morrisey backing the front?

At least we get ibuprofen. I think in Europe you either can't buy it or the dose is like 1/10th of here.

I remember going to the ER in Denmark and when I asked where I paid my bill they looked at me like I was insane

Dana, I just found two Jesse Garon songs on a YouTube channel called TallulahGhost. I can see myself spending some time there in the near future

There's at least a few on YouTube, yeah. A bunch that aren't. "Splashing Along" was the hit

I'll hunt around for more videos too. I really loved their "You'll Never Be That Young Again" though I haven't heard it in a long time (it was on a radio tape from the early 90s which I don't think I could play even if our stereo system was hooked up)

They also shared members with a lot of other Scottish bands I love. Rote Kapelle, Fizzbombs...maybe Shop Assistants at some point? I forget

Visited Idaho as a child, still remember how beautiful it was. Haven't been back in that part of the country since.

My grandfather (who was very left wing) lived out in one of the white supremacist capitals of the country - Coeur d'Alene. Of course I wasn't aware of that at all.

Those two states, and New Mexico and Arizona are four western states I REALLY want to visit someday. The desert calls out to me, for some reason.

@Roffle It's silly but I really got infatuated with the four corners region because of Breaking Bad and the video game Half Life, both taking place in New Mexico. Something about so much empty space with clear stars at night atreacts me like a moth to the lamp
