I can pick up Ontario’s CHML on 900 AM as far south as Ocean County. For years, they broadcast “Those Old Radio Shows” every night from 10:00 PM to 1:00 AM. Then in 2022, they cut it down to just Saturday and Sunday nights. 😠

This is WPRB. The only radio station in the world.

My dad was a ham radio operator, and sometimes we'd go in his shack that looked suspiciously like the pic on this page, and listen to old radio shows. It was cold in there... but the stories were so gripping.

Salty’s has three spaces that play live music simultaneously. You enter the venue into a large open space with a hit-cover band. Another room with a stage usually has hippie rubbish. Behind a sliding door, punk bands play on the floor in a tiny room (In between their songs, you can hear the Billy Joel or Bon Jovi covers seep through!). I suppose the large room with the stage will be reserved for Josie Cotton, the Plimsouls and Kurt Baker.
