I made the error of putting some leftover sweet potatoes with toasted marshmallows on top in the microwave - Bye bye toasted marshmallows - hello white runny sweet slather

hahaha was it delicious or just lava hot?

Not as good as the crunchy merenguesque original

ohhhhh so that's the secret! I'll admit, I have never seen the magic of the sweet potato-marshmallow combo, but I can get with meringue!

Well the toasted marshmallows get a little crust on them and it is quite lovely - I also add some crushed pineapple which I thought was traditional but have been told it is only me doing that :)

@jen..in my younger days cannonball meant a Bill Murray impersonation from Caddyshack

Richard, I am so glad you remember that story. That Thanksgiving+ I spent with Jen was a lovely one.

I have been cleaning / vacuuming the basement for hours, was watching the (terrible) football game happened to check the WPRB site and was shocked when I realized who was on!

One for the record books! And I love that someone else enjoyed the story as much as I do.🧡

I ran into Chris from Monorchid a couple weeks ago. Seems like he is doing pretty well, but I doubt he'll be in another band anytime soon. Delighted if I am wrong.

I saw Meat Wave a few years ago at a house show in East Windsor.

I was the oldest person there by several fold. When I parked my car the person who showed me where to go explained how house shows work to me, that all the money would go to the touring band. It was very sweet. I bit my tongue.
