Stitching: I have a Gardening question. Today i found a "weed" that had small Jack o Lantern hollow thingies on it. They were about 1 inch diameter. Great for Fall decoration. Do you know what it is???

Stitching: Still no luck finding the name of my "Mystery Weed" ...Good excuse to visit the nearest Nature center!

I remember seeing that weed when I was a small lad. Nothing new to this part of Bucks county for sure!

(Ooops!) This track -- after the Alice Dona -- doesn't sound so much like Snoopy music as it reminds me of the leitmotif for another cartoon dog -- Clifford the Big Red Dog. I think the piano part is identical! Tis the season for the autumnal maritime New England ambiance of "Birdwell Island". BTW -- one Christmas I was feeling especially inspired and made homemade clove-studded orange pomades (is that the word?) as gifts for loved ones. It takes a seriously l-o-o-o-o-o-n-g time to stud oranges!

Teresa: Yes, I remember making them as gifts as a kid. But I think small hands might be faster than big ones :)

We had two chestnut trees on the property. My Mom would put them in the oven, when we heard a small explosion we would all laugh "chestnuts are done!" !!

agree. a couple years ago I made snowmen all by myself. but it was the pandemic so maybe bored/lonely?

Claire <333 I also will never forget two winters ago when I had to call out of work because ONLY my part of the state had some pretty severe snowsqualls while down in South Jersey where I worked had nothing.
