Bleach was never one of those I caught onto as a kid. I was into One Piece and Naruto, so 2/3 ain't bad.

I was mainly just into naruto so now I'm going back to watch bleach

and I plan on reading one piece

Never seen Bleach fully, but know some of the chars. Been watching some Inuyasha lately

My sister is a One Piece fanatic and likes the live action version, and I think that's pretty good, even though I don't actively follow OP

Seen that One Piece Gold movie and it's pretty golden

That's been a common sentiment that makes me happy the live action version was as much of a success. Even my cousin who lost interest in OP loved the live action

Late spooky month movie rec: One Piece Film 6 Baron Omatsuri and the Secret Island. Excellent excellent movie that doesn't need you to have watched the anime. Great art, beautiful animation, and gets dark as hell in the final act

Felt like Cobra Kai had some hidden assistance in OP Live action to me. I hope the upcoming Avatar Airbender live action gets the same OP Netflix treatment and learns from that Hollywood failure movie, Last Airbender

I'm curious how it'll go without the original creator's involvement, since they went off to do their own studio instead of keeping with Netflix.

Hmm, I think will be like that thing called Dragon Ball Evolution if Oda wasn't involved, since DBE was made without Akira's consent and the creator knew nothing about DB.

I also see they'll be a Yu Yu Hakusho live action

And some weird dragon ball series next fall, called Dragon Ball Daima of Goku and friends turned to kids (GT 2.0 again)

used to watch so much dbz as a kid

i'll let u know right now, flex, that dragonball super is extremely hit or miss. it has bigger fights but the story isn't as nuanced except for some specific plotlines

ive heard good things about super

i wouldn't say a lot of dragon ball has had nuanced plot

Z definitely had more going for it in that department imo. Vegeta and Gohan's personal arcs were pretty strong. Most of Super is just big fighting. There isn't much to connect each arc to the next. Just they fix the bad thing and then another bad thing pops up. Goku Black arc is probably my favorite story arc though. I see time travel and my pupils dilate

Flex- Liked the og DB, especially the scary King Piccolo saga and his son's saga. Cell saga was also my best and some of Buu saga. Yeah DBZ and onwards was never heavily on story plot. Super did have a dark story of the Goku Black saga and Granola saga

Oh yeah the Moro arc had some cool moments too. Shame about his final transformation, but his original design was SICK.

GT's worst saga is that black star ball saga, especially when Piccolo dies for a plot hole and those balls made no such mention at all, but somehow the Pilaf Gang knew about them

Flex- Yeah, good Super things like DBS Hero the movie, of Piccolo the main protagonist and if you heard Inuyasha has a daughter, as well I think a nephew and niece from Sesshomaru

Moro was indeed great, til the end where Moro loses his sanity after absorbing Merus

Granola saga was hell, when Frieza pulled up

Super's two movies so far are Broly and Super Hero

I don't think you would miss out on Super, in terms of plot, but when you have the chance, it's worth a see. Like mentioned earlier, it can be a hit or miss, but the fights are massive

The Goku Black saga is worth seeing, and the Tournament of Power saga

One can always just read the manga too. There are some differences here and there, such as the ending of the Goku Black arc being handled much better than the anime. The first two arcs of Super aren't necessary either, since they're already based on the movies Battle of the Gods and Resurrection F
