How I miss Eulah and the scholarly comparison/contrast assignment with the Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (that never ever was thematically, structurally, or harmonically related to 'Eine Kleine Nachtmusik'); and the Scarlet Pumpernickel Game Show -- 'a simple game for simple people' <3 <3 <3

@Lizbot, I guess not everyone got his subtle, mischievous, weird sense of humor. LOL One thing I liked about the All Ages Show was there was humor for the kids, and then another layer of humor for the grown ups.

@Chef Emeril / Christine - I really like the Peruvian restaurant in Ambler, Geromino's. The pollo al limon is my favorite entree there, but also the quinoa and the chaufas. Suspiro de Limeña is a decadent dulce-de-leche-esque dessert there with meringue on top

Pat was wonderful at so many things, and I was (and still am) especially in awe of his ability to "quip" on the spur of the moment! I have never been able to improvise so that ability is like a superpower where I'm concerned... During the recent pledge drive for which the premium swag was the PRB tote bag, I remember Pat with (If I remember correctly?) DTO and Wilbo. They were busy describing the tote bag -- how many compartments it has, how it zips up, how it could accommodate all your new

I had never seen that movie before that, but my friend loved that movie. It was based on a fantasy book of the same name that won the Hugo Award about a talking toaster, lamp,etc! I had that Land of the Loops album since 96 and finally had an answer

His three-shows-in-one was one-of-a-kind. The World's Fare had such a wide scope and was fresh and necessary. Paddytales was its own radio theater complete with his score. The Scarlet Pumpernickel could go anywhere and had some wildcard gems. Total respect.

My favorite name change was Marvin's show "Memory Lane" into "Harken Back Alley" with Paddy Waddy Ding Dong. It had a great theme song about getting lost on the way to memory lane and finding himself in Harken Back Alley. Needless to say, the songs were better.
