7:12 AM		Richard Trythall Omaggio a Jerry Lee Lewis Players and Tape V/A CRI 1977 Richard Trythall (1939, Knoxville, Tennessee, USA) studied composition and piano at the University of Tennessee, at Princeton University (1961-1963). Trythall lived in Italy since 1964 until his death on 21 December 2022 (aged 83).
7:18 AM		Earthstar Latin Sirens Face The Wall French Skyline Sky 1979 Earthstar was the brainchild of keyboardist/synthesist Craig Wuest, originally from Utica, New York. After the release of their first album, Wuest was encouraged by electronic music artist Klaus Schulze to relocate to Germany where Earthstar was signed by Sky Records. Schulze co-produced their second album, French Skyline (1979). Earthstar was the only American band who participated in Germany's Kosmische Musik/electronic music scene while still at its height. He is currently based in Atlanta, GA.

7:47 AM		Mick Karn Atyan B-Boot More Better Different Kscope 2003 Andonis Michaelides, known as Mick Karn (1958-2011), rose to fame as the fretless bassist for the art rock group Japan. Bandcamp
7:51 AM		Shadowfax A Song for My Brother Watercourse Way (1976) Greenshadow Music 2019 Shadowfax was formed in Chicago in 1972 as a blues band, taking its name from Gandalf's silvery-grey horse in J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings." During the 1970s they moved to a style heavily influenced by progressive rock mixed with elements of world music, folk, jazz and even classical chamber music. Their only release in this style was their debut album, "Watercourse Way", initially released by Passport Records in 1976. Shadowfax found a wider audience when they signed with Windham Hill Records in 1982, and their self-titled second album featured a softer sound, heavy on jazz and world music influences.Their later music was often categorized as new age.

9:04 AM		Art Zoyd Génération Sans Futur Génération Sans Futur Atem 1980 Art Zoyd, founded in Valenciennes, France in 1969, centered around composer and classically-trained violinist Gérard Hourbette and bassist Thierry Zaboitzeff. With each successive album, the rock aspect of their material slowly gave way to a blend of zeuhl and classical music, developing ever tenser and darker climates.
9:13 AM		Serge Bringolf Strave Parties I & II Strave Soleil Zeuhl 2011 French drummer and composer, in the tradition of Christian Vander (Magma). Bringolf released three albums under his own name in the early 1980s, two studio and one live. He started out squarely within the Zeuhl tradition, but was developing his own voice. After a promising early career, his musical output trailed off.
9:33 AM		Estradasphere Colossal Risk Palace of Mirrors The End Records 2006 Estradasphere was an experimental band that originated in Santa Cruz, California, during the late 1990s. The band, which in its last incarnation was based in Seattle, consisted of six multi-instrumentalists from a variety of musical backgrounds trained in disciplines ranging from classical music and jazz to heavy metal.
9:37 AM		Poil Opuscul L'ire des papes Dur et Doux 2008 Poil were formed as an experimental rock trio in 2005, a psychotic chamber jazz outfit run by disgruntled classically trained concert escapees with an axe to grind. "L'ire Des Papes" is their debut album.
9:44 AM		Neom Act II - Part I Arkana Temporis Soleil Zeuhl 2009 This is the debut CD from a new generation of French zeuhlers. Neom is heavily influenced by Magma (but not a clone).
