| Richard Trythall Omaggio a Jerry Lee Lewis Players and Tape V/A CRI 1977 Richard Trythall (1939, Knoxville, Tennessee, USA) studied composition and piano at the University of Tennessee, at Princeton University (1961-1963). Trythall lived in Italy since 1964 until his death on 21 December 2022 (aged 83). |

| Earthstar Latin Sirens Face The Wall French Skyline Sky 1979 Earthstar was the brainchild of keyboardist/synthesist Craig Wuest, originally from Utica, New York. After the release of their first album, Wuest was encouraged by electronic music artist Klaus Schulze to relocate to Germany where Earthstar was signed by Sky Records. Schulze co-produced their second album, French Skyline (1979). Earthstar was the only American band who participated in Germany's Kosmische Musik/electronic music scene while still at its height. He is currently based in Atlanta, GA. |

![]() | Shadowfax A Song for My Brother Watercourse Way (1976) Greenshadow Music 2019 Shadowfax was formed in Chicago in 1972 as a blues band, taking its name from Gandalf's silvery-grey horse in J.R.R. Tolkien's "Lord of the Rings." During the 1970s they moved to a style heavily influenced by progressive rock mixed with elements of world music, folk, jazz and even classical chamber music. Their only release in this style was their debut album, "Watercourse Way", initially released by Passport Records in 1976. Shadowfax found a wider audience when they signed with Windham Hill Records in 1982, and their self-titled second album featured a softer sound, heavy on jazz and world music influences.Their later music was often categorized as new age. |
