We took a boat into NYC last weekend. Highly recommend. Bit of drive to get to Highlands / Sandy Hook, NJ ferry docks from Bucks Co Pa... but the ferry is so easy. Took us to 35 Street in no time. Goodbye NJ Transit.. heh. Rather go by boat now

i once went to ellis island after having a couple of pints and pate (insert accent) with my mom and dad. had a great time until i sailed that short distance, threw up in the bathroom.

I've never had a complaint per se on sound. Only facts and comments. Sounds great today. Eso speaks and enunciates. Can. Hear. Voice. It. Good.

Monty Python had one in the late 70's. It was cut with two adjacent, but separate grooves on one side.

Ya i have a Dead Kennedys one I think. Side 4 is "blank ". Just smooth surface

The lead ins were 180 deg apart.

This is linear music. It's based on the notion that in repetition no note or attack on a chord or note is played exactly the same so hits that difference that creates a harmonic background.If you listen carefully you can hear a kind of melody happening and drifting through the music. since there's no key signature here its a tone poem.

The ones with 2 lp disks and smooth surface on what would have been side 4 were usually just a case of not having a full 4 sides' worth of music. And possibly songs' sequences and lengths (not wanting to cut a song in 2 parts across sides etc). The DKs one jokes "This side intentionally left blank due to home taping of lps ... " or some such

Depends on how close the groove spacing is. Those 3 sided LPs were cut with finer grooves and caused issues with lower quality tonearm/cartridges as I recall.
