This show is sandwiched between my daughter's middle school graduation last Thursday and my 20th anniversary (with my husband, not of the show...on the 21st year of the show now!)

First shore visit, nice, I have one booked for mid July, but may sneak down prior to then if possible.

And in the meantime, the highway collapsed, while I was down the shore, and I got stuck in a hailstorm in Pemberton, NJ yesterday and TRAFFIC APOCALYPSE today

I hope your daughter's graduation wasn't impacted by all of the smoke that we had last week!

Hello Number 6! It was! It had to be moved indoors, but it all worked out. I felt bad for the high school graduation kids because our ceremony and reception was 3 hours but there's was all-day events, including ceremonial tree-planting that had to be cancelled

Do Amy and Tina do a show together or separate sets?

@DSM - Yup! This June has been nonstop events. Jam-packed! Still have The Feelies at Brooklyn Made tomorrow night, on my actual anniversary, Leopoldstadt play on Saturday and Steve Reich Sonic Sphere that afternoon at The Shed NYC, a 1970s Northern Irish play at the Irish Center called Good Vibrations based on The Undertones and other 70s northern Irish punk bands, The Crossing modern vespers choir at a farm in Bucks County, The Cure show, Sparks show, and a flight the next morning! Phew!

@DSM - Both! Mostly together, but then they each do a separate stand-up set, and those were great. I esp loved Tina's. Opener Atsuko was good too. She has a stand-up special on one of the streamers.

@DSM - Rachel Dratch also made a cameo as "Debbie Downer" in a Weekend Update sketch

@DSM - It was a nice surprise. She did some new bits plus the bit about feline AIDS being the number one killer of cats, which had that nice "meow, meow" instead of "wah WAAHHH" punchline. My kid hadn't seen that stuff the first time around

I was down the shore for Memorial Day weekend. It was kinda cool weather wise then.

@Number 6 - Yeah, I'll bet it was really chilly on the beach then! It was warm enough to hang on the beach this weekend, but not swim in the ocean, though there were a few brave souls who ventured into the water briefly. It eventually got too windy to hang for as long as I'd have liked! Then I got stuck in a crazy hail storm in Pemberton coming home yesterday!

@Ossy - I named this while my feet were cold! They randomly turned blue on Tuesday and I had to soak them in hot water!

Where I was they have a heated pool, but it was also windy, so I didn't go in.

@Number 6 - Yeah, I took a dip in a pool while it was very sunny and the pool was very heated, yet the wind made me too cold! I've never seen my feet turn that blue!

@Rob from Maryland - He was the most vocal of the birds hanging out by us. He was over by Barnegat Bat. The beach was strangely devoid of many seagulls, but I did see two pairs of pelicans over the ocean. The seagulls didn't have a lot of bathers/beach-goers to nick food from!

@Rob from Maryland - Fewest gulls Ive ever seen down the shore! I think because of lack of ppl on the beach, but I still expected to see them hunting over the water

@Rob - Last summer I watched on drag a huge bag of trash out of the beach trashcan, rip it open and spread it all over the place!

When I first started, I played Magma, and a listener sent me a copy of one of their multi DVD sets.
