This feels like if you took the Shotakovich cello concerto and slowly melted it

It’s great to hear music that steps out of the 12-tone scale.

Especially when it’s made to sound good, not just “sour”.

It sounds like Carrillo's theories about temperament were totally wild, constantly self-contradictory, and super inventive. There's at least one recording out there of a concerto for that 99-key piano that spans a single octave. It's super intense
