Heya Dan and all. Anyone else join the Jersey City Jazz Festival this past weekend?

Wow didn’t know about Where in Jersey city?

I have a couple of The ROUTE 66 dvd sets at home but haven't sat down with them. Our whole ohuse watched them on Nick @ Night while I was at college...

After hunting down some real Jersey strawberries, spent the rest of the weekend cleaning the house and trying to tame my sprawling collection...

Out at the park area where the PATH station and Hyatt hotel are. Bill Frisell Trio and Emily Braden were there on Saturday, sadly I had to miss out. Sunday, we saw the Jon Davis Trio, Nikara pres. Black Wall Street, and Doug Beavers & his band.

Free to attend too, apparently it's annual.

Has everyone already checked out this new Coltrane?

Martin Sheen is one of the few actors still alive from The Outer Limits in 1964. Others include Bruce Dern and Robert Duvall. My favorite show from my childhood.

And Shatner.

As for old TV shows, GET TV is showing Nichols on Saturday and Sunday. James Garner and Margot Kidder. From 1970. Created by Frank Pierson, who wrote Cat Ballou, Cool Hand Luke, and Dog Day Afternoon.

Only 24 episodes. On NBC back then. Stuart Margolin was the deputy sheriff.

I’m proud to say that I recorded this set by Bill Lewis and Khan Jamal. I recorded them with Jules Epstein and Della Lazarus for the radio station formerly broadcast on 88.9.

Just watched a Garner film MISTER BUDDWING, a psychodrama where he wakes up in central park and doesn't know who he is. A lot of pretty women try to help him...

Blue Genesis was the jazz show after Diaspar on 88.9.

No, Rob. My only other released recording was a broadcast by Sun Ra and Arkestra that Ra put out (without credits) on his El Saturn label.

Did that release have a title?

Atlantis. Kidding. That, one of my favorites was on Impulse.
