I re-watched Episode IX over the weekend (first time seeing it since it came out) and this has led to roughly 700 hours of conversation between my kid and I about how we could have improved the film.

If Star Wars is a movie that was "saved in the editing" I don't know exactly how to explain the editing in IX.

That said, the parts I appreciate I appreciate I just wish there were more of them (fun times with the crew on group adventures bantering).

Hello Norway!

An obstacle to fully understanding the whole saga is that some important information isn’t in the 9 episodes. What happened to all those Jango Fett clones, for example. I assumed that all those stormtroopers in Episodes IV through VI were more Jango clones (we never saw their faces). I wondered what happened to the earlier clones that got too old for military service. Did they move to a retirement community, or were they simply shot like horses?

Fran Blance got me here, she was wearing a WPRB t-shirt on her latest youtube release :)

Then some hardcore fans explained to me that the post-Episode III stormtroopers were not clones and that the clones’ fate was something very different from what I imagined. But I never would’ve learned this from any of the 9 episodes. The information was in some book or cartoon somewhere.

I recently watched, for the first time since the 70’s, the “One Day at a Time” episode guest-starring Mark Hamill. It was a couple of months before Ralph Bakshi’s “Wizards” and about 5 months before “Star Wars”.

The "problem" is that a lot of the recent parody / funny songs about Star Wars aren't my speed and I'm running out of novelty songs from the 1970s (though there are still a few I need to hear).

One of my favorite Star Wars songs is a mashup of limp bizkit’s “did it all for the nookie” (instrumentals) with the Wookiee rap as the lyrics. Limp Wicket. It somehow goes hard.

Jon - I'm playing through Fallen Order for the first time so I can transition right to Survivor in a few weeks.

@Parrscream, we got Fallen Order in February 2020 and needless to say we took our time with that game as completing it together really helped keep us sane during early Pandemic weeks / months.

Though, I did have a quasi-emotional breakdown when I was unable to defeat one boss for a couple days.

Uhuru was an Imperial BFF-1 bulk freighter bearing supplies as part of a larger convoy that gathered near Orron III en route to the soon-to-be-finished Death Star I. The convoy was due to rendezvous with the freighter Toral, which was attacked on the way by Rebel forces. Learning of the rendezvous location from the Toral, the Rebels dispatched Y-wings from Red and Gold squadrons, along with a X-wing from Blue Squadron to destroy the convoy.

The awesomeness just keeps going. Wow.
