I’m a longtime WPRB fan, especially of Serenade to a Cuckoo, Music You Can’t Hear on the Radio and your show.

They had these great Sun Ra recordings that were destroyed by XpN new breed.

Jules Epstein loved Sun Ra.

I was at 88.9 and WRTI. I was not not involved with the Foxhole, except as an attendee of many incredible concerts there.

That new Sun Ra does Fletcher Henderson is real nice...

Last time I saw John Zorn I didn’t really see him.It was at Old Christ Church.He played in the balcony in the dark.

I just found a Russ Woessner interview from 1982 with Sun Ra on YouTube. 36 minutes.

Randy Weston did a solo concert for 88.9 at St. Mary’s church. It raised the building from the ground. Incredibly nice person too.

Clive Davis deserved a ton of respect for the Arista Freedom label.

Democracty Now spent the hour with Weston a few years before he passed, a truly stellar talent. I was just touting Weston's BLUE MOSES record yesterday when Don Sebesky passed....

When my mom was near death, my brother and I took her to see Bobby Zankel and friends play A Love Supreme at 40th and Walnut, outdoors for free. A great memory.
