What would i have done without Sesame Street and Charles M. Schulz as a kid in the 70s? And Mr Rogers. And The Electric Co. And Warner Bros/ Mel Blanc. And Hanna Barbera.. etc etc. The other schools

We were thinking about you yesterday Readie when we were in Belmar and Ocean Grove! We even had an extra chair in the car just in case! Beauty sunny day to sit and watch. Tons of surfers out but we barely dipped a toe in the salt.

Maybe I can see Brian when I go to OG this summer. Look for the WPRB beach towel.

I usually go just in the summer. However, my company has a fiscal year-end of June 30th. So, July is typically super busy and I end up working Saturday's. So, I haven't gone much the last couple years.

I wanted to take the back roads and avoid the rage drivers on I-195 but.. we also wanted to get there early.. So i-195 it was.. . not too bad on way down. A bit ragey on way home.

I see a lot of cops on 195 going down, but I hate driving back

We go over Wash Cross bridge, 546 to Mercer Park, through Windsor, Perrinevillle Rd, Baird Rd, Smithburg Rd (rt 527), 537 to 524, to Belmar Blvd (rt 18) then that ends right in Belmar.. easy!

Adds 20 to 30 mins time for us but worth it. Some parts are really nice country roads

That's a hell of a route! I usually just take 195 to exit 16, right at that gas station after the outlets, right at the home Depot way down, then left at the light to get to seaside. Never took any other backroads

@Brian D- my side mirrors (which do not fold in) are damaged pretty bad from that narrowest of all bridges-

I really like the stretch of Perrinevillle/ Baird Rds (they change the name of those roads a few times heh) and the stretch of 524 when those are way out in horse and farm country. In the hotter months there's some shade on that route that helps a lot
