Ya mom n dad went to the 3rd annual New York Jazz Festival in 1958. Miles, Brubeck, Chico, Jazz Messengers, Monk, Anita O'Day.. you name it. They weren't huge Jazz buffs specifically but loved music, concerts, festivals. Folk, jazz, Irish, Bluegrass, Country n Western, Latin etc. Tons of good records in the house. Mom listened to the public radio folk etc shows every weekend.

Mom's all about wrti now ... her old school radio doesn't pick up wprb well. Tried to get her into radio audio streaming on her computer but... she likes the old dial tuner radio...
