I do wonder what kind of frogs. random mix? frogs native to the area? were toads allowed?

I was reading an interpretation of the passover story that posits that there was only one huge frog initially but when the Egyptians attacked it instead of resolving the root of the problem it split into a zillion frogs

I feel like it could have been toads too but probably all native species

@ Krista (host) Another tremendous playlist. I'd never heard Marty Robbins' "Cry Stampede," really awesome. Obviously it comes from the same period that produced his masterpiece of suspenseful cowboy story telling "El Paso" (although from a different LP). What a songwriter Robbins was!

It's on Sinatra's 1950s career comeback LP Songs For Swinging Lovers, produced, arranged and conducted by the great Nelson Riddle. Check it out if you've never heard it. Truly wondrous.

When I was a kid and Lou Christie had a major hit with "Lightning Strikes," even way back then I realized what a sexist double standard it represented. The male character laying down the non-exclusive-for-now rules to his girlfriend would NEVER accept her saying that if "Lightning Strikes" with some hot guy she's got to be free to hook up (because, Hey, you & I are getting married eventually.)

I think the LA band does it like "High-mm"
