I was quite close to the tornado 2 days ago... that green sky was really something to see! super Rapid fire purple lightning

Man I wish I coulda seen more, the storm drain in front of my door overflowed and I had to keep the door closed or I'd been flooded out

I was at a neighborhood Italian restaurant in South Philly where everyone cancelled their reservations at the last minute....

Hi, Dan. I walk my neighbor's dog every morning (she's old) and it was really windy today.

The dog is young, my neighbor is old.

Tomorrow going to be even better! Gonna go on a nature walk tomorrow, today is a day of relaxation for me. Especially with the music coming out of my radio right now :)

The dog was a rescue, who'd been hit by a car and had surgery. Now when she pees she takes ten or twelve steps on her front legs only. I really ought to photograph that. YouTube gold.

Eric was one of my first jazz obsessions.

Newtown PA got hit by the tornado. About 1 year ago our area had some tornado action (Dublin / Bedminster)

I'm going to see the Arkestra in three weeks. Marshall kicks ass somehow.

I saw John Hicks play with David Murray in New York. And Steve Lacy was on the bill. A free show at Damrosch Park. And Arthur Blythe.

Yeah, that series of PJ demos has really re-awakened my interest. She's the real deal.

She came into the video store I frequented in S.F. around 1993 while on tour, according to a friend/clerk there. She came in completely alone, rented a copy of PRIME SUSPECT with Helen Mirren, gave her credit card for collateral and prompted returned the videocassette in the mail from her next concert stop.\

As a video clerk at the time, I was duly impressed.

As you should be. I adore her.

And Prime Suspect is great. I love Helen Mirren.
