Ah man that Jackson Browne/David Lindley - Live At The Main Point 1975 album. Straight fire.

This is early, San Francisco psychedelia by Lindley who liked Middle Eastern music and modal music, often employed dancers to add to his performances

Mok, I know Lindley was considered one of the greatest musicians at that easy rock of the time, so revered he was never told what to play

Watched a live video of David Lindley doing Mercury Blues the other day. Not just a lap steel but a "stand up steel". Lively David in the 80s. Standing up with the double neck steel on a stand in front of him. One of my fav versions of that

Mike, who is Paul Plumeri?

It was the great guitarist Deke Dickerson, (and if you don't know he is I urge you all to look him up), who brought Freddie Roulette to my attention, they had performed together on stage several times.

Paul was in the band Hoochi Cooch early Seventies then went on to play lead with Duke Williams and the Extremes and in 82 had his own band

Used to see Paul Plumeri a lot at the various Bucks County bars in early 90s. Good player.

Paul Plumieri is a blues guy I believe.

I think he used to say it "Plumber - Eye" which I thought sounded funny.

He plays regularly in Jersey...at a bar in Washington's Crossing

Danny DeGennaro, Paul Plumeri, Steve Guyger and others... some good players in the area that played the bar circuit but with big room chops. Good players in their bands too
