Pete, not only do I remember Arcwelder, but I saw them play at Maxwell's during a blizzard. Only four other people at the show, and yet the band played like they were performing for screaming thousands.

@Guelo an Asian market in Edgewater. The main store is Mitsuwa, they have a bunch of food shops including ramen inside. In the same plaza there's a Little Japan shop and a Kinokiniya. The whole area is also a wonderful walking spot especially at night since it's directly across the river from the Northwest tip of Manhattan. Definitely a place to take a special someone for a very special evening
