@Commie - I used to take a lot of greyhounds and Chinatown buses, but I had a friend who got the most outta her greyhound pass by taking it cross-country, at which point her feet had swollen so badly, she had to cut her boots off

Least favorite Greyhound memory (other than a few bus breakdowns): Missing the last bus to Philly from Baltimore and having to drowse on top of my bag in the bus station til 4:45 am.

I Drive to the middle of the Ben Franklin Bridge on my ebike at 3am and look about. Good stuff. Too cold now though.

@Commie - I had just gotten my friend’s parents to drop me off there late at night and then I missed the bus anyway and I felt way too guilty to call them and ask them to pick me up so I could crash at their house, so I wrapped my backpack around my arms and curled up on a plastic chair and semi-drowsed while giving myself a really nice neck cramp

@Rofflestomp - Funny you should mention that! Part of the reason I’m down here right now is because my kid is really into filmmaking and has been scouting locations all day and she insists she needs to shoot a scene on the Ben Franklin Bridge in January and all I can say about it is WINDYYY

@Rofflestomp - I’ve walked across the Ben Frank in spring and the problem then wasn’t so much the wind as the sun burn and car fumes!

I was lucky to meet the real Peggy Sue as well go to Buddy Holly's Grave. I was shooting a rockabilly doc for the guy who replaced Buddy, Jerry Naylor.

Sometimes the walkway UNDER the bridge is open to pedestrians but it is kinda scary in there

@Rofflestomp - I haven’t biked the BFB but I like to walk it when the sun isn’t crazy bright. I walked the Williamsburg Bridge in November cuz it was so mild out Thanksgiving weekend and the kid wanted to meet her friend at Essex Market and Economy Candy
