I had a three day streak of "breaded eggplant sandwiches" over the weekend. All were ace, each quite different. One had gruyere, one blue cheese. What a time to be alive.

Got one from Hoagie Haven, one at an Italian deli on the upper west side and the last from a place in Ithaca that one review promised "the best vegetarian sandwich within 100 miles."

How was the best vegetarian sandwich within 100 miles? True to its name?

That sounds like a good run! Never had eggplant coupled with blue cheese before! There is an eggplant sandwich at the Primo's chain that I like, the Nonna, eggplant, sharp provolone with broccoli rabe & roasted red peppers and some spicy oil blend.

I was lucky last year to find a really nice old bedside radio at goodwill to listen in my bedroom. One of those cube shaped (dream machine) radios that I think had the functionality to pick up TV station audio too

If I buy a house I'm getting a hidden house-wide speaker system to play the radio 24/7. With an AUX hookup
