I went to the island of Exuma last March and asked some locals about Anthony MacFarlane, AKA Exuma the Obeah Man, and it turns out he was actually from Cat Island!

I always assumed he was from Exuma, naturally. Though I think he lived there for a while. As far as Bahamas islands go, I think Cat Island is even less populated than Exuma, which is pretty small

But I got a bunch of rake and scrape Bahamaian music while there

Who is the first singer-songwriter to have photo of a cat on album cover? (Don't ask me)

Can always appreciate some cat iconography!!

My family'

is planning on visiting the Bahamas sooner or later

And we're looking into the smaller islands so maybe I'll look into MacFarlane's Cat Island roots
