@ Commie Francis (host) Yes, I do believe the British folk rockers' music (which also includes Steeleye Span) and the Canterbury scene was referred to as "prog" as in "progressive." It's fascinating to me how much more of traditional British Isles folk sounds were incorporated by the prog bands as compared to American folk/rockers. Not dissing the latter, whose music I also love, just an observation.
