@ Jen Redlights (host) & Dan Ruccia I just checked the Wiki article on The Freshies. Seems the de-Virgin-ization (sorry! LOL) versions of their hit were not because of the Virgin Records stores but BBC Radio 1, which feared the song would be considered advertising. Richard Branson of Virgin apparently loved it. In 2006 when the company opened a new megastore in Manchester Branson tried to locate the former employee who inspired the hit and have her there as a guest! Not clear if she was found.

Also seems (from SmileAmazon) it was re-leased on digital just last month! K-Pop and J-Pop are well known, but Southeast Asia has given rise to some awesome pop and rock acts, too. I'll have to check it out ...
