Greetings WILBO and his listenership.Mourning the loss of Stuart Margolin aka Angel.Martin .TVS worst best friend in history but a funny guy
Wilbo (host) 12:08:20 PM
And we have Chesky sliding in just ahead of Guelo! With Patrick referencing the Rockford Files right out of the gateIt's gonna be a barn burner!

DRAGULAAAAA!
Wilbo (host) 12:18:21 PM
I played at Dead Man's Curve up in Mawah a few times. Dragula was there one year, Eddie Munster another. Marylin Munster yet another...always a fun dress-up party
Wilbo (host) 12:19:13 PM
sorry, that's Marilyn
Patrick White 12:21:42 PM
It’s not a true party until Al Lewis shows up!
David Shortell 12:23:18 PM
Pat Priest played Sue Ann's sister Lila on "The Mary Tyler Moore Show".
David Shortell 12:24:41 PM
That is who you meant, right, Wilbo? Not Beverly Owen, who died 3 years ago?
Wilbo (host) 12:25:52 PM
Pat Priest indeed. Almost used a Car 54 gif which would have covered 2 of the Munsters
Patrick White 12:28:44 PM
When Aaron Judge is at bat. It always reminds me of the Herman Munster baseball tryout episode
Wilbo (host) 12:38:53 PM
Fred Gwynne weren't no Bucky Dent
Patrick White 12:40:51 PM
Wilbos wonderful music selections are making a great soundtrack for this Leopard Man movie I have on mute.
Wilbo (host) 12:43:35 PM
I hope Peter Stampfel caterwauling the theme from Goldfinger won't spoil it, it's in the cue somewhere in here...
ǝɹnɔsqꓳ ǝɥꓕ ǝʌɐꓷ 12:46:51 PM
I should have known this was on Cuneiform.
Patrick White 12:49:08 PM
Perhaps the worst concert I ever attende @Prallsville Miills. The holy modals we’re holily intoxicated.Opening act was Adam Brodsky who incorporated the F Word into every song and lyricI left at halftime break as one Holy Modal was relieving himself in the Delaware river
Wilbo (host) 12:49:10 PM
It did have that vibe. Kind of like Pell Mell with horns, or a math Calexico
Wilbo (host) 12:50:46 PM
mathy
TAndy 12:54:32 PM
This Mingus piece is something else!
Wilbo (host) 12:56:14 PM
I'm pretty sure it's my favorite Mingus rekkid. Amazing top to bottom
Patrick White 12:59:42 PM
Hoping TCM will one day re broadcast that Great Mingus documentary from 1968

Moorefield earned his PhD from Princeton in 2001. His dissertation was “The Producer as Composer “.
Lee Chandler 1:10:53 PM
I'm liking the background music.
Andy Wing 1:12:00 PM
Remember Moorefield's performance at Tagfest in 1997? I was running park sound and the piece he did was seriously avant garde. I talked with him briefly about Transformations and Bhopal which I got vie the old New Music Distribution Service.
Patrick White 1:13:30 PM
First time I heard Jawn.was 1979Our department of recreation leader told a friend his house was a short jawn from the jawn translating into I live in South Philly near the Spectrum where the PFUNK concert was happening

Flower Corsano goes darkwave?
Wilbo (host) 1:21:49 PM
I had to find a sampling keyword for Virgil for that Tagfest. He had a quintet with him, strings I think
Wilbo (host) 1:23:16 PM
I think I had to give him a ride too...in Princeton they don't understand the motor car
Andy Wing 1:30:05 PM
Are you still in touch with Carelton or Gene?
Wilbo (host) 1:33:27 PM
Carlton's got a new rekkid out. "Inside Voices". you can find it at carltonwilkinson.bandcamp.com

Brian D 2:15:30 PM
Loving this set!
Wilbo (host) 2:22:53 PM
Thanks Brian. Patrick, I just got a whole tub of Aunt Arlene's test pressings and lacquers, none of my cousins have turntables. I haven't had a chance to go through them yet...
Patrick White 2:23:32 PM
When it comes to fiddle music it’s Arnold Sharp and everyone else.
Brian D 2:25:02 PM

@ Wilbo (host) Another great playlist. And thanks especially for the Tommy Jarrell and Curly Ray Cline (with narration by Curly Ray's band boss & friend Ralph Stanley). Two of the greats of the fiddle, influenced generations and entertained countless crowds.

@ Wilbo (host) And Bill Monroe, the Father of Bluegrass, intro'ing the dream lineup of a dozen fiddle greats (at Bill's Bean Blossom Bluegrass Festival, early 1970s, I'm a-thinkin'?) It does not get any better than this!

Richard from Rocky Hill 2:58:36 PM
A "golden" oldie indeed! I adore Peter Stampfer, half of the duo The Holy Modal Rounders, the world's first and greatest psychedelic old-timey duo! I don't know if Stampfer ever recorded it, but he also had a killer clawhammer banjo with vocals arrangement of "Along Comes Mary."
Richard from Rocky Hill 2:59:27 PM
S.B Peter StampfeL ... Spellcheck got me, too!
Lee Chandler 2:59:36 PM
Thanks Wilbo!
