hope you're doing well this morning, TAndy. I'm all recovered from a nasty bout of stomach sickness! My house can't catch a break from the constant waves of infectious illness

I'm well! I've somehow avoided any disease (that I'm aware of) since late 2019, somehow. My best friend's family however is covid riddled once again

That was me, before kids! never got sick. after, someone is sneezing in my eyes like every other day. Sorry to hear about your friend's family!! covid sucks

I'm still unsure if my "Allergies to LA air" when I visited earlier this year was that, or mild covid. My tests came back negative, but then most rapid tests wind up negative anyway.

When I had covid, the rapid tests were negative the first day but pretty quickly turned positive when we tested again the next day

I swear I still carry 3 masks around, but you guys are making me think I need a 4th. :)

lol rofflestomp. If you don't have 2 children who constantly hang out with other kids and cough into your mouth maybe you'll be fine

I mask because I'm hoping to be able to visit my husband's grandmother again and we can't avoid getting a cold or rsv (yikes) or some gross preschool bug every week! also mask because the shape of my mouth is a SECRET

Unfortunately for me, those reusable masks I get from work are the only kind I can wear frequently because any other masks hurt my ears thanks to my egregiously wide head

I wear KF94 disposable masks I get from a place in NJ that imports them from S. Korea. They're reasonably comfortable, as far as masks go, and high filtration. I still do risk hanging out with friends maskless as we are all boostered and I miss seeing their faces. Once or twice this summer I entered Costco maskless and felt obscene but with the big wave of RSV filling up childrens' hospitals I'm trying to be cautious to protect my youngest, who is only 1 year old.

I bought a bunch of those Korean KN94's too. I love 'em!

Ya just slide your finger on the screen. Rectangle map of screen layout has the note increase/decrease in pitch on 1 axis and increase/decrease in volume on the other. But it is quick touch responsive and sounds really cool when you cram all fingers on the screen and just drum them all over. Sounds like 'cool dated 80s computer sound effects ' when you do that.

The one finger at a time approach has the basic Theramin ghostly sound or 'Greg Brady in the attic UFO kazoo sound ' take yer pick
