My wife and kid got to go over to see her at end of the summer and basically like 18/19 relatives made it to her birthday. Wasn't clear she would live until the party but she was so happy and kept going for a few more months after. Unreal.

I'm not a Low completist but I really should be. Band that showed us all how to do it, on-stage and off.

I once saw Low open for Radiohead at MSG in 2003, and the crowd was absolutely obnoxious, booing them—they just didn’t get it. And at least as I remember it, the band just powered through, they sounded great, and I was transfixed.

If HEY WHAT is indeed their last record, what a high point go out on two decades into it.

I booked a Low show at the venue I managed in the 1990s. We were worried about people in the back of the bar talking the whole time so we brought in tables and chairs for the first time and I'll be damned everyone was so stinking respectful the entire night.

If memory serves it was a weekday with no opener so you were either there to see Low or you showed up to drink, saw what the scene was and split.

I love that at this point neither Dan Ruccia or I are 100% on who actually engineered this so we've opted for co-recording credit.
