![]() | The Zombies This Will Be Our Year The Zombies Odessey and Oracle Marquis Enterprises Ltd 1968 Many people fixate on the sound of the album, which finds a sweet spot between psychedelic rock and baroque pop. But the songwriting, split between band members Rod Argent and Chris White, deserves serious credit as well. Argent was responsible for the album’s memorable hit single, “Time Of The Season,” while White came through with “This Will Be Our Year,” which has shown more endurance than many songs of the era that were big hits at the time.

He was born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, to Ann Harriet (Gunderson), a Norwegian immigrant, and James Thomas Mitchum, a shipyard/railroad worker. His father died in a train accident when he was two, and Robert and his siblings (including brother John Mitchum, later also an actor) were raised by his mother and stepfather (a British army major) in Connecticut, New York, and Delaware.

Soon after, on September 6, they would go into a recording studio for the first time, accompanied by Joe Nolte, leader of Los Angeles rock band The Last, who produced their session at Media Art Studio in Hermosa Beach, California. However, when Red Cross signed not long after with Posh Boy Records, its owner, Robbie Fields, didn't like the Nolte recordings, so, he would get most of the songs to be re-recorded .

Exposure is the debut solo album by guitarist and composer Robert Fripp. Unique among Fripp solo projects for its focus on the pop song format, it grew out of his previous collaborations with David Bowie, Peter Gabriel, and Daryl Hall, and the latter two singers appear on the album. Released in 1979, it peaked at No. 79 on the Billboard Album Chart. Most of the lyrics were provided by the poet and lyricist Joanna Walton, who was later killed on Pan Am Flight 103.

Heyman N 67,000 Miles an Album 2022 From an interview with Heyman: "So, the opening song called “You Can Tell Me” was one that I wrote in my family’s garage at an upright piano. Someone down the street had been throwing it out, so I got it to start writing. I wheeled it down with a couple of friends. I had also been tinkering on pianos at school, cutting class and going into the auditorium. I had been taking a bunch of music courses in high school and was in the marching band."
