I see the program started with one of my favorite bands that I’ve seen live. Though from Columbia, Missouri, the Untamed Youth played in NJ a lot before they relocated to California. Each performance of that song began with a recitation of the Pabst Blue Ribbon oath that was inscribed on a plaque they found at some yard sale. I bought admission to their last Court Tavern show with a six-pack of PBR, but they didn’t play the song that night.
