Free4all flowed so well out of The New Abnormal that I didn't even notice the shows has switched
Christine 10:34:29 AM
That was a excellent segue, No. 6.
Number 6 (host) 10:36:13 AM
Hi DSM! Thanks Christine!
Number 6 (host) 10:41:45 AM
"Technical difficulties" may have made me muff up the times.:)
Christine 11:13:39 AM
💜 what a cover.
Dan Ruccia 11:15:19 AM
I've only ever heard the Robert Wyatt cover. Didn't realize how faithful it was to the original
DSM just soggy 11:16:25 AM
Love this one
Number 6 (host) 11:20:20 AM
Hi Dan!

The Galactic Gumshoe! 🔎
Number 6 (host) 11:21:27 AM
Robert Wyatt is great, truly underappreciated.
JimBo4All 11:26:05 AM
Hey everybody! Could you explain the Adventures of Ruby? I heard a similar thing last week (on this show?) They are hilarious! Where does it come from?
Number 6 (host) 11:27:44 AM
Hi Jimbo! You can check out ZBS.ORG.
Number 6 (host) 11:28:38 AM
I think it came out in 1985 or so. I have them on tape.
Richard from Rocky Hill 11:31:24 AM
@ JimBo4All I agree about "Ruby," thanks for asking.
JimBo4All 11:32:17 AM
Thanks 6. I promote you to 7! Will check them out. Hilarious! Do you add the music?
Number 6 (host) 11:32:27 AM
Hi Rich!
Number 6 (host) 11:33:32 AM
The music is by Tim Clark. He did quite a bit of stuff for them.
Number 6 (host) 11:34:51 AM
I have played The Android Sisters as well. Another one of their creations.
Number 6 (host) 11:38:04 AM
The Android Sisters are on youtube also.
Richard from Rocky Hill 11:39:15 AM
@ Number 6 (host) WOW, that was THE Allen poet Ginsberg! In funny-to-the-bone collaboration with Paul McCartney and Philip Glass. i had NEVER heard it or even OF it! (Can you tell I'm skull-crazy over it?) Thanks so much for spinning that one. Yep, WPRB-FM has "All the music you didn't know you liked."
JimBo4All 11:40:19 AM
Oh my! Taking notes here. Did Ginsberg mention the Robot Skeletons? Do Robots have a God?
Number 6 (host) 11:40:32 AM
Maybe that would go good with We Didn't Start The Fire?
JimBo4All 11:41:15 AM
Ginsberg piece very entertaining.
Number 6 (host) 11:41:29 AM
I think that I found that at Princeton Record Exchange.
Richard from Rocky Hill 11:41:52 AM
My ear bone's connected to my keyboard finger bones, and I'm off to acquire a download of "The Ballad Of The Skeletons" ...
Number 6 (host) 11:43:57 AM
Maybe a good one for Halloween?
Richard from Rocky Hill 11:49:00 AM
@ Number 6 (host) Just did some quick research. Ginsberg told an interviewer that his inspiration in creating various political & cultural skeletons wasn't Hallowe'en but Mexico's Day of the Dead festival: “It’s an old trick.to dress up archetypal characters as skeletons: the bishop, the Pope, the President, the police chief."
Number 6 (host) 11:52:50 AM
Day Of The Dead, Halloween; same thing!:)
Number 6 (host) 11:54:07 AM
