Jesus. I had an easier time of it in South Jersey - was able to attend the Iraq War protests in Philadelphia with my friends from Quaker camp. Still went to a school where I felt alienated for my political beliefs, mostly because I cared at all.

Fatima Mansions just came up in the Leonard Cohen documentary, Hallelujah, that I saw last night. Lots of thoughts on that but I'll save it for my show.

I was too young to have any proper protest regarding the war, and unfortunately I was indoctrinated into that attitude of fear. It wasn't until my late teenage years that the lightbulb finally turned on in my head :/

I think I was 7/8 during the attacks and I was a naive and silly child who believed anything he was told.

I'm interested in your thoughts at some point. Former WPRB big cheese Ken Katkin had very strong feelings about it. Mostly about the inclusion of Shrek stuff.

I'm not well educated on the Fugazi (pronounced foo-gaze) sound

this is much different from their earlier sound

I love fugazi, this album was a teenager album for me that I wore out. His children did not appear in the documentary which told me a lot and also they totally left out the massive appropriation of Christians. Calling Fugazi bubblegum pop just cracks me up.

But I will go off on my show about it, I'm sure. Been stewing on it. Lots of great footage of Leonard Cohen and I definitely wept 3 times but he is a holy man for me.

My 2013 Honda Odyssey has a big cd storage?? So i copy lots of CDs on it. Wisconsin Labor Songs is a constant.

I basically have loose CDs all over the car from the 14 years I've had it. It's terrible. The burned ones have not held up. No aux cord, no tape deck.
