Hello, Lizbot! Congrats on moving one step higher in the line of royal succession.
Lizbot (host) 5:10:05 PM
Hello Bud!
Lizbot (host) 5:11:07 PM
@Bud - Why thank you. I woke up with no specific plan of what I was gonna play today and then the news providing me with an answer
Lizbot (host) 5:11:26 PM
First chunk - Kings. Second chunk - Queens
DSM 5:13:05 PM
Hey Lizbot!
Bud Burroughs 5:13:05 PM
Very timely! I actually visited Buckingham Palace last month, but her majesty refused to see me. I couldn't even get past the gate!
DSM 5:14:28 PM
Does this mean we get the ultra rare appearance of Aerosmith with their "Kings and Queens"?
Michael Williams 5:14:50 PM
Hello Lizbot. Would you be able to play “Can’t Wake Up the King” by Big Dipper ?

Lizbot (host) 5:29:07 PM
@Lord Byron Brian D - I'm dying to hear this story
Lizbot (host) 5:30:18 PM
@Brian D - I've seen him live with The Glass Gypsies in Philly & NYC and he was great . I took a video of him at the NYC show he did for The Homeland and he grabbed my digital camera and sang into it! Gotta FIND THAT!!

Brian D 5:32:14 PM
Commie Francis played the audio of it months back and that turned me onto it. Bobby cleaned up the lyrics for a song about ... well getting ahead in the biz... and had a bunch of kids perform, dance etc on this local variety tv show in Chicago. He was lip syncing to the clean version but still lipped the naughty words a couple times. So surreal and fun.
Brian D 5:32:23 PM
Great song. A real gem
Lizbot (host) 5:32:32 PM
haha, I think that bit of conn public tv intro was audible over my mic! good thing it was clean
Brian D 5:33:14 PM
Madam I'm Adam
Lizbot (host) 5:33:45 PM
@Brian D - OH, I still haven't gotten to watch it, only 3 seconds of the intro, but I'm guessing they're on Chic-a-GoGo. My daughter was on that show when they came to Philly to tape at PhilaMOCA and had Dead Milkmen perform years ago
Brian D 5:35:35 PM
Yes that's the show! Comments section has Bobby's explanation looking back to answer the public's questions etc.

Lizbot (host) 5:42:40 PM
@Mary - Hi! I have some MVM to catch up on after cramming in so much last-minute road tripping during which I let the kid control the stereo!
Lizbot (host) 5:44:06 PM
I'd like to think the royal foot guards are secretly listening to headphones blaring brutal prog under those fuzzy bearskin hats
Lizbot (host) 5:45:09 PM
@Mary - Who else might I play that would have something to say about being king...in a very theatrical way? 30 seconds to guess
Mary Jones 5:45:29 PM
@Lizbot well, we took off two weeks, what with being down the shore, so there’s a week before our next episode, you’ve plenty of time.
Mary Jones 5:45:44 PM

Here she is!
Mary Jones 5:46:56 PM
The Queen is dead, long live the Kate
Lizbot (host) 5:48:11 PM
@Mary - I noticed! I left off with Hollywood Shuffle. I love River's Edge...waiting to show that one to the kid when she's a liiittle older. Can't wait for One Crazy Summer. It's silly and parts don't date well, but I have a soft spot for Steve Holland and John Cusack and I loved that movie as a kid, esp. the radio contest and Bobcat as Godzilla stomping the diorama!
Lizbot (host) 5:48:19 PM
@Mary - KATE IS ALL
Mary Jones 5:49:19 PM
The Godzilla sequence killed me, because I didn’t actually expect it until it happened. Which, don’t know wha that says about my observation skills, but I enjoyed it.
CARLOS RAMONE 5:49:35 PM

gboss 5:53:56 PM
Hi Lizbot!
George Korein 5:54:18 PM
now i see there's a band called High-Precision Ghosts, which I attribute to this song
Lizbot (host) 5:54:21 PM
@George - I think I heard Paddy McAloon (Prefab singer) wrote this song using an exquisite corpse type game
George Korein 5:54:29 PM
you were never fleet of foot... HIPPIE
Lizbot (host) 5:54:36 PM
@George - oh, totally! Now I need to check that out
George Korein 5:54:39 PM
is that line written by Mustafa?
George Korein 5:54:50 PM
ahhhh that would make sense
Lizbot (host) 5:55:03 PM
@Brian D - ooooooooh! I gotta get that one!!!!!!
George Korein 5:55:17 PM
someone on "songmeanings" opines that "high precision ghosts' refers to old songs being re-released on the 'precision' format of CD."
Brian D 5:55:37 PM
The Ayatollah of Rock and Rollah
Brian D 5:55:50 PM
The Duke of Juke
Brian D 5:56:28 PM
The Viscount of Discount Bin Rekkids (ya no rhyme there I know)
Brian D 5:57:32 PM

George Korein 5:57:55 PM
Hot dog king of r'n'r applies to this show's theme and last week's hotdogmania
Lizbot (host) 5:58:32 PM
@George - Which line? (Written by Mustafa?)
Lizbot (host) 5:58:55 PM
@George - hmmm, I will call CDs "High precision ghosts" henceforth
George Korein 5:59:02 PM
"you never were fleet of foot... hippie"
Lizbot (host) 5:59:20 PM
@Brian D - HA! The Ayatollah of Rock and Rollah!

@Addie - I think of the community pool in the summertime in the 80s when I hear EWTRTW
Brian D 6:01:36 PM

George Korein 6:02:15 PM

Addie 🐍 🐍 Plum 6:03:42 PM
@lizbot ooo yeah. It’s definitely a summer song.
Brian D 6:04:37 PM
You will find nothing but high precision ghosts in our machines. And materials, magic, suns (might be hard to see them tho), hunger, demolitions, information (perhaps quite a bit), rehumanization, worlds, Greek letters, journeys (shhhh don't tell) and finally ... darkness
gboss 6:05:30 PM
you had music at your pool?
gboss 6:07:33 PM
we were only allowed music when vacuuming the pool first in the morning.
Lizbot (host) 6:08:13 PM
@gboss - yup, community pool stereo system was all ABC, Tears for Fears, The Cars, etc
Lizbot (host) 6:08:25 PM
@GEorge - True!
Brian D 6:08:25 PM
The pool we go to has nothing but horrible algorithm music streaming. Like the negative audio image of Selecta Jerry's show on Saturdays. I want to hack in and put Jerry on
Lizbot (host) 6:09:03 PM
@George - Ghosts in all the machines and ghosts of machines past
gboss 6:09:13 PM
Selecta in more peoples' lives would make the world a little better.
Brian D 6:10:10 PM
With occasional classic rock, soul/oldies that is tolerable. Like light coming through the clouds for a bit... And modern country which is not tolerable (and not country). Well... we have trucks, tractors and tailgates... OR we have half hearted ersatz reggae sandals wearing country ...hmmmm
Lizbot (host) 6:10:27 PM
@gboss - true!
gboss 6:10:45 PM
@George and @Lizbot that analogy could also extend to television shows that got re-transferred in HD. The original sets and props were never designed to be seen in that detail.
Brian D 6:11:14 PM
ADVANCE HALLOWEEN DEVIL PLUS GHOUL CONTENT ALERT!
Lizbot (host) 6:11:19 PM
@Brian D - I have noticed suddenly in the past few years a sudden burst in modern country being played by ppl on the beach down the shore in Jersey and I am none too happy about it!
Lizbot (host) 6:12:08 PM
@gboss - True! Some didn't look so great after being digitalized or in high def!
CARLOS RAMONE 6:12:57 PM
I would nominate the logo from DJ Mc Sweden for the next T shirt
Lizbot (host) 6:20:08 PM
@Carlos - Good call!
Lizbot (host) 6:21:04 PM
@Brian D - OH BOY - I gotta invite those high precision ghosts to convene with the Killbot!
Brian D 6:24:00 PM

Lizbot (host) 6:34:45 PM

Wes Steenson 6:35:11 PM
@Brian D And oh how they danced - the little puppets of Stonehenge…
Brian D 6:35:41 PM
I know one who dahnced right out of the womb. And they were dahncing when they were twelve, and at eight, and into the tomb apparently. I know one who did but forgot to blow (And carelessness can bring other things )
Lizbot (host) 6:35:47 PM

George Korein 6:35:57 PM

Lizbot (host) 6:36:28 PM

@George Korein Yes- that “John Bonham set up the drums in a stone room in a castle” sound was a few years away.
George Korein 6:40:40 PM
haha the show must indeed go on
George Korein 6:41:45 PM
these drums on the other hand are far from dry
George Korein 6:42:23 PM
swoooooosh
Wes Steenson 6:43:09 PM
In case anyone is concerned- reports are saying the Queen’s dogs will probably be taken care of by the palace staff for now, and may be distributed among the royal family. No worries about the Royal doggies.
Lizbot (host) 6:43:20 PM
haha, one last "go on"
Rob from Maryland 🌻 🇺🇦 🦀 6:43:49 PM
Killer song!
Tyler B 6:43:54 PM
Yo who is responsible for this list of absolute bangers we're hearing tonight
Wes Steenson 6:43:57 PM
Oh, go on! 👑🇬🇧
Lizbot (host) 6:44:03 PM
@ROb - Love this song!
Lizbot (host) 6:44:15 PM
Hi Tyler B! Lizbot here
Lizbot (host) 6:45:03 PM
@Tyler B - Thanks!
Tyler B 6:45:20 PM
Ahhh I get it, royalty theme? Tuned in for king crimson and was just loving your set
George Korein 6:45:28 PM
Queen Bot
Lizbot (host) 6:45:47 PM
@Wes - I'd sure those are some pampered corgis! I want them to be distributed to the band The Korgis
Wes Steenson 6:46:04 PM
If these are the bangers, where’s the mash? (British food reference) 🇬🇧🧑‍🍳
Addie 🐍 🐍 Plum 6:46:16 PM
I bet those corgis have inheritances
Tyler B 6:46:36 PM
Is there an Aerosmith song in our future?
Tyler B 6:46:51 PM
The one called kings and queens, of course
Lizbot (host) 6:47:03 PM
@Addie - I'll be that have foot guards and golden grooming brushes and steaks all day long
Lizbot (host) 6:47:28 PM
@Tyler B - haha, you're the 2nd to ask for it today...We'll see...but I have to admit I'm not a big Aerosmith fan
George Korein 6:47:52 PM
Every corgi's gotta learn sometime
Brian D 6:48:06 PM
Aha! The very one who dahnced!
Wes Steenson 6:48:29 PM
Tyrannosaurus Rex! (Before they shortened the name) 🦖
George Korein 6:48:31 PM
maybe you'd prefer an arrowsmith
Lizbot (host) 6:49:23 PM
@George - How did you know? I'd like a arrowsmith with which to share a broodwich
Lizbot (host) 6:50:00 PM
@Wes - Yeah, I always think of Tyrannosaurus Rex as the sensitive folk rock side of the glammier T. Rex
Brian D 6:53:52 PM
A broodwich in Greenwich or Ipswich on a triptych?
Lizbot (host) 6:56:12 PM
@Brian - I ride the switch in Ipswich with a hearty broodwich
Brian D 6:58:42 PM
Onefwich, twofwich, redfwich, Greenfwich
Wes Steenson 6:59:38 PM
The Bloodwyn Pig station break!! 😻
Brian D 7:00:43 PM
Will a certain makeup wearing Dane with a gem of a name make an appearance? Mercy! And full!
Ossy Hyouka 7:02:55 PM
Evening Elizabeth!
Lizbot (host) 7:02:57 PM
@Wes - The broodwich is primarily made up of Blodwyn Pig
Lizbot (host) 7:03:02 PM
Hello Ossy!
Lizbot (host) 7:03:21 PM
@Ossy - That's QE3 to you!
Wes Steenson 7:03:45 PM
You’ll have to excuse me- my Mellotron alarm just went off (again).
Lizbot (host) 7:04:21 PM
@Ossy - My mom lived in England in the 60s and bought me a bear on one of her return trips there to visit her old flatmates in the 80s and that bear wore a crown and was named Queen Elizabear
Lizbot (host) 7:05:38 PM
@Wes - ha! You know I'm a sucker for mellotron! I will ALWAYS maintain the REAL [wavery, unpredictable] things sounds a 1000 times better than some digital mock mellotron setting in some program like Logic or Bandcamp!
Lizbot (host) 7:06:54 PM
@Brian D - hmmmmmm.
Brian D 7:06:55 PM
Here at the firm of Harmonium, Mellotron and Chamberlain ... we have a sustained history
Ossy Hyouka 7:07:15 PM
Hahaha, so cute Queen Liz! Elizabear.
Lizbot (host) 7:07:23 PM
@Brian D - Greenfwich! I only trust laden swallows from Greenfwich
Lizbot (host) 7:07:48 PM
@Ossy - My mom tried to make me into an Anglophile and my Irish dad had something to say about it!
Ossy Hyouka 7:08:11 PM
Funny there's a human girl in one Sonic the Hedgehog game, named Princess Elise, that sounds close to Elizabeth
Brian D 7:08:33 PM
Oh that was a long shot my mention of King a Diamond there ha
Ossy Hyouka 7:10:23 PM
Very well a flag of you, how did that turn out, lol?
Brian D 7:11:36 PM
Love love the Bothy Band !
Wes Steenson 7:11:54 PM
@Brian D “We might not be licensed to practice in your state, but that’s okahy!”
Wes Steenson 7:14:16 PM
I wasn’t aware of the Queen Jane song until I heard Oscar Isaac perform it in Inside Llewelyn Davis. It’s now one of my favorites.
Lizbot (host) 7:14:39 PM
@Brian D - Glad to hear it! Of course my dad had all the Bothy records
Brian D 7:14:55 PM
Fripp's Theory: " Tuning a mellotron doesn't. "
Lizbot (host) 7:15:01 PM
@Ossy - See the lyrics to the Irish Rovers' Orange and Green! My dad won!
Wes Steenson 7:15:23 PM
And there’s Brian May! 🎸
Lizbot (host) 7:15:55 PM
@Brian D - Ha! Temperamental but lovable machine!
Ossy Hyouka 7:16:20 PM
Liz - Social media is a chaotic stinky mess, loads of evil disrespect against Queen Elizabeth 2nd, celebrating her death, so immediately, even using thatb Megamind quote of no Queen in England exists!
Lizbot (host) 7:16:56 PM
@Brian D - BOOM
Wes Steenson 7:17:03 PM
Everyone should see Hail Hail Rock and Roll to see Chuck Berry teach Keith Richards how to play his songs the RIGHT way.
Brian D 7:17:19 PM
"Guitah playah from who?" "No not Who, Queen. " "May you say? Well.. he ain't exactly a rocket scientist! " "Well.. actually..."
Lizbot (host) 7:17:33 PM
@Brian D - Belgin not Dane, but close enough! Which Dane you want?
Brian D 7:18:30 PM
King Diamond was my Dane long shot request but not really. Mostly a joke
Rob from Maryland 🌻 🇺🇦 🦀 7:18:41 PM
@Lizbot, what is the queen connection of this Plastic Bertrand song?
Wes Steenson 7:20:23 PM
I’m sorry, but I prefer my Bertrands to be natural and not plastic. #FreeRangeBertrands
Lizbot (host) 7:20:38 PM
@Rob - "I am the king of the divan" - It belongs in my King portion of the program from the the 1st half of the show, but I forgot about it 'til Brian inadvertently reminded me
Lizbot (host) 7:20:48 PM
@Wes - SAVE THE BERTRANDS
Brian D 7:21:18 PM
And to see Keith sneakily route Chuck's guitar cables to a secret quieter amplifier hidden below the stage
Andrew Gruen 7:21:18 PM
Hi LB! I appreciate the Hitchcock trifecta tonight!!
Rob from Maryland 🌻 🇺🇦 🦀 7:21:52 PM

Lizbot (host) 7:23:08 PM
@Mary - Nice! Hi, Dennis!
Brian D 7:23:21 PM
Swshhhh swshhh... i first heard this Polly song thanks to Beavis and Butthead!
Ossy Hyouka 7:23:49 PM
I always keep thinking Chuck Berry and Halle Berry are related, lol
Brian D 7:24:01 PM
That is one of my fave Robyn/ Soft Boys tunes ya
Dennis Lingg 7:25:30 PM
Thanks Liz!
Wes Steenson 7:26:06 PM
@Brian D That scene in rehearsals where Chuck won’t let Keith play his intro to Carol until he plays it CORRECTLY!
Rob from Maryland 🌻 🇺🇦 🦀 7:27:41 PM

Brian D 7:27:50 PM
Yep! Love those multi string bends!
Brian D 7:28:04 PM
Multiple times Keith!
Brian D 7:28:54 PM
Keith in that colorful suit. Wonder if he borrowed it from Charlie
Wes Steenson 7:29:52 PM
@LizBot I have a live recording of KC somewhere where Fripp introduces a song with “we’ll begin once we get our Mellotrons in tune” which gets a knowing laugh from the audience!
Lizbot (host) 7:30:45 PM
@Rob - I gotta check out that cover!
Lizbot (host) 7:30:59 PM
Hi Dennis! I'm happy to have insisted some Dennis dances!
Lizbot (host) 7:31:19 PM
@Dennis - *inspired, not insisted, but hell, I ALSO insist upon them!
Ossy Hyouka 7:31:32 PM
Brian - Must be fresh jazz like rnb singer, Keith Sweat. #Twisted lol
Lizbot (host) 7:31:55 PM
@Wes - HA! Perfect joke for all the beloved KC fan music nerds, me included!
Lizbot (host) 7:32:17 PM
@Ossy - Hail the Berry!
Brian D 7:33:55 PM
Goats, mini goats, horses , pony, peacocks all say hi. Good eve for a walk. They're all so friendly tonight down at the rescue farm
Ossy Hyouka 7:35:17 PM
Liz - Hahahah, Halle Bailey (Hail the Berry). That goes for Chloe x Halle's Halle "Bailey" as well
Lizbot (host) 7:35:40 PM
@Brian D - Nice! I bid them well. I heard an owl and a fox here last night. Well, mainly the owl, but George heard the fox up the street
Brian D 7:36:43 PM
Fox was on the run i hear
Brian D 7:37:07 PM
They scream and everybody comes
Lizbot (host) 7:38:02 PM
@Brian D - You, you talk about just every band, But the names you drop are second hand
Brian D 7:39:23 PM
I love the folkie song titled Fox on the Run as well. No relation. Both great
Brian D 7:40:24 PM
Ya just a bran new second hand... said Mr Tosh
Lizbot (host) 7:40:53 PM
@Brian D - Take a run and hide yourself away when that fox comes runnin'

Lizbot (host) 7:47:17 PM
Hello Jimbeaux!
Brian D 7:48:54 PM
Devout Catalyst album. Ken Nordine wordsmithing over Jerry Garcia and David Grisman playing. Tom Waits guest stars
Brian D 7:49:28 PM
Not a request for tonight just recommendation
Rob from Maryland 🌻 🇺🇦 🦀 7:49:49 PM
@Lizbot, no worries. She owns the record. Plus it is a long track. It was a nice surprise (thanks!).
Wes Steenson 7:50:32 PM
It just occurred to me- Scott Thompson (Kids in the Hall) just lost a character. Unless he wants to play a Ghost Queen.
Lizbot (host) 7:50:48 PM
@Brian D - man, Nordine was on fire. He was guesting and collaborating with everyone. A million times better than when Burroughs leant his speaking voice to someone's recording (though I love L Anderson's Sharkey's Day with WB)
Brian D 7:50:55 PM
Victorian Squid. Elizabethan Corn Dog. Evolution.
Lizbot (host) 7:51:21 PM
You all KNEW I'd play this

Lizbot (host) 7:52:25 PM
@Wes - You yeah, you're right! Hmmmm, I HOPE the Kids in the Hall reboot gets renewed! S1 was solidly good. Only a few sketches I didn't like. I LOVED apocalypse DJ! I loved how they introduced it too...Dave Foley asking "I'm I still the cute on" and they all look at him and go "meh"

1880 forever!
Lizbot (host) 7:57:22 PM
@ᎷяMΔᏞᏨØИᎢΞNᎢ- I think breaking into the palace with a "rusty spanner" refers to Michael Fagan, the guy who broke into the queen's bedroom in Buckingham Palace to have a talk with her about unemployment back in 1982
-ᎷяMΔᏞᏨØИᎢΞNᎢ-💀 7:57:40 PM
