Glad The Stooges were a hit to start they're still probably my all-time favorite band

Except for the dirty water and shitty bathroom situation, Woodstock 99 really is the modern big corpo festival experience. If not for the two issues I mentioned above I would have loved to be there lolol

Yeah the bathroom situation was hard to watch🤢

It really was just the product of monetary greed on the part of the organizers though. We already have proven successful multi-day festivals. Tomorrowland, Firefly, Defqon.1, Coachella, a bunch more. Sad it went sour back then, we could have had a regular festival for the Mid-Atlantic/New England area. Ain't much here compared to out west.

PAVEMENT 🤎

Had to drive around the Made In America perimeter last night to give my friend a ride, but this is probably the first year I actually wished I could be at the festival

Fortunately there's not a lot to "discover" so to speak. I have not listened to their reunion albums but I haven't heard anything that would compell me to do so

Iggy's solo career obviously is worth listening to and I enjoy some Destroy All Monsters with Ron Asheton

Fun House and Raw Power are the real essentials though

Amazing to me what a great drummer Bill Ward is and he's admitted in interviews that some of these albums he was so off his head he doesn't remember recording them

Bjm is awesome, one of my favorite bands, that's one of their most popular tracks, a good one though. Definitely get thru that backlog! Once you get into them there's a lot to explore
