It’s a shame D.A. Pennebaker’s documentary of Dylan’s 1966 UK tour (an intended follow-up to “Dont Look Back”) was not fulfilled. Instead, the footage fell into Dylan’s hands and he edited it into the incomprehensible “Eat the Document”.

I bought a VHS bootleg of “Eat the Document” years ago. It has bonus footage of John Lennon and Dylan meaninglessly yakking in a limousine. It ends abruptly when Dylan passes out. I read that Lennon and Pennebraker then hauled his drunken ass to his hotel room. That must have been at the end of the tour. You can easily find that limo footage online now.
