These recent strains are really transmissible, but fortunately usually less severe. I finally got a super-mild case a couple months ago.

I'll say the one silver lining is that my positive test coincided with the arrival of the Dilla Time audiobook from the public library, so I had that going for me.

Jon, I will say the awful taste aside, if you can get paxlovid it seems to have sped it up for me.

had the covid. probably micron. took the paxlovid. same bad taste. went away after the pills were gone. mild symptoms. was vaccinated and boosted.

Of course, hopefully Jon, you don't have to deal with it 🤞

Hi Steve, I think I'm on that path as well, as far as the paxlovid is concerned. Tomorrow is my last day of doses.

What's hard is the constant oft heard on wprb "... i can't do this... I know I'm going to mess this up... my pronunciation is bad... blah blah.." Jump in the deep end and keep trying! Keep the confidence up! Listen for live instances of people speaking said language or song title on the web etc! It can be done! Cue Leslie Nielsen peeking into cockpit... we're all counting on you ha ha

Yes MrM! Same advice to people at open mic, budding musicians etc. Don't apologize and say you will mess up the song etc. This "self deprecation confused as politeness" thing.. can be detrimental. Sally Forth (Leslie said stop calling him Sally... and Shirley)
