I read that story Richard, where the woman refused to stay indoors after being attacked by the grizzly, the 1st time. Man, sleeping in the wilderness is never a safe thing, with predators on the move, especially in the dead of night, where they can see 20x better in the night. Why would you go settle at the same place, where you had an encounter with a large deadly animal?

I couldn't watch it. They made Willy all wrong. Like a creepy cat in the hat or something. Gene made it his own. Loved the books as a kid. Read Charlie and... as well as The Great Glass Elevator so many times. I think I liked ... Elevator better

Has anyone defined what exactly a Hoople is? Outside of the town that is the home of the University of Prof Peter Schickele, the University of Southern North Dakota at Hoople.

Looking at cast of Silver Streak. Barely any left. Some of the actors were from 1910s. My grandparents age or older.

Breaking the Waves is in my top ten movies. Emily Watson did not win the Oscar. The last scene in that movie just blew my mind and have never forgotten the impact it had on me.

Taking this opportunity to re-recommend anything from the soundtrack of Julien Temple’s 1986 film Absolute Beginners, especially any of the David Bowie songs.

Morricone Youth is a great band name. As is Ciccone Youth. Wonder if they intended that as a nod to Sonic Youth as well as the obvious Morricone.

Heard some cool low rumbling sounds in the score of the film Hell or High Water. Nick Cave and Warren Ellis did the music. Worked great in desert chase scenes of the southwest

Wasn't much into Grease, but know the popularity musical feel and impact. I once saw my high school's play of Grease. I remember seeing Grease 2 on TV with Michelle Pfeiffer!
