Vampisoul rocks! That was such a fun one. This Wilboctopus 5 Hour thang is something else... Great summer skedge this '22. Change of skedge on horizon....
Dan Ruccia (host) 3:11:19 PM
I feel compelled to note that someone in this band apparently is playing "harpies"
Dan Ruccia (host) 3:11:59 PM
They find the best stuff! I'm gonna be sad if/when I'm not after Wilbo. It's been a nice treat this summer
TAndy 3:14:50 PM
Dan the man!
Dan Ruccia (host) 3:16:25 PM
Hey TAndy!
Brian D 3:16:30 PM
MAIDEN!!
Brian D 3:17:35 PM
that Steve Harris ding ding ding string against frets and pickups sound... what a bass player. The main Man in Maiden
Brian D 3:19:27 PM
1 leg up on the monitor pose... mouthing all the lyrics (he wrote like 90% of them or more... he oughta know)
Dan Ruccia (host) 3:19:59 PM
Iconic!
TAndy 3:20:39 PM
Turned my mom's kitchen radio to 103.3 let's see how long it lasts
Dan Ruccia (host) 3:21:05 PM
LOL. Gotta pull out all the weird stuff now, I guess
Brian D 3:22:13 PM
Saw them do a greatest hits tour in 2008. It was perfect. Like going back (Somewhere In) time to high school. Bruce had all the vocals down. Still such a great strong singer now. They all came out of a wall of fog appearing like magic at the start after the Churchill speech tape. Looked like superheroes ha!
Brian D 3:23:19 PM
I like how they wear their merch too! They have like a different full color t shirt for each city of the tour. Crazy. Fans eat it up
Dan Ruccia (host) 3:23:54 PM
Amazing. I saw em in 2013 and it was insane. I forget what the theme of that tour was, but it almost didn't matter
Dan Ruccia (host) 3:24:23 PM
Apparently they're touring right now! Playing in Newark on Oct 21
Dan Ruccia (host) 3:24:40 PM
And I may have to see them at Greensboro NC on Oct 25...
Dan Ruccia (host) 3:25:54 PM
I wonder if WPRB can pull a ticket giveaway for the Newark show???
Brian D 3:26:23 PM
Saw 1984 Powerslave Tour as my first MAIDEN show. Twisted Sister opener ha. Then the 1986 or 87 Somewhere in Time tour.
Brian D 3:27:20 PM
They work. True meaning of the words "World Tour". Magellan would be proud
Brian D 3:33:02 PM
My wife was on a work trip to SE Asia about 15 years ago and saw Maiden in Bali. Just a what the hey... let's go kinda thing. That would be a colorful show
Dan Ruccia (host) 3:39:27 PM
Oh man. That would be so much fun

Spotted Lantern Fly PSA needs updating. The 888 ☎️ Is only for PA. They don’t track our sightings in NJ. NJ has an equivalent ☎️ And Dept. Agriculture website.
Dan Ruccia (host) 3:43:40 PM
Probably worth emailing whoever handles PSAs, not sure who that is though
Lee Chandler 3:51:16 PM
For those interested, NJ has an online reporting form.
Brian D 3:51:34 PM
Power to the Pop!
Brian D 3:55:56 PM
Instruments remind of The Horseflies. Great psych spaced out folk band from N.Y. state
Brian D 3:59:12 PM
Written by Willie Nelson! Night Life!
Dan Ruccia (host) 3:59:51 PM
Wild!
Dan Ruccia (host) 4:00:02 PM
It's crazy thinking about how long Willie's career has been
Brian D 4:02:42 PM
Willie wrote Crazy (Patsy Cline). Funny How Time Slips Away (many..) Funny how Willie looks "older" in his younger pictures. Similar situation with George Carlin. They were really straitlaced in appearance until the early 1970s
Brian D 4:03:39 PM
"Older"in that they look like the generations that preceded them
DSM 4:06:23 PM
Ahh, Nite Flights! Needed that, refreshing!
Dan Ruccia (host) 4:09:32 PM
Scott definitely gets the cobwebs out
Dan Ruccia (host) 4:17:13 PM
Guess I'm gonna let the Sunn0))) run for a minute since it goes so well with this Jack DeJohnette
Dave Rogers 4:22:28 PM
The previous DJ also played a tune from this album. What a great record! Good to know that at least 2 other people know of it.
Dan Ruccia (host) 4:23:31 PM
Ha! Great minds
Dan Ruccia (host) 4:23:39 PM
This is why I like being after Wilbo
Brian D 4:34:16 PM
