I slept too much yesterday now I'm not sleepy at all right now. Looks like I might be around for the full show

It was 7am and I was exhausted, took a sleep gummy thinking it's better to oversleep and be good all night for work instead of wake up at 2 and be sleepy at work. I chose to sleep through a surprise Deidre video game music special and I am so mad at myself for that.

Got a good sleep, but I could have slept more. have been assisting in the un-airconditioned warehouse all week and that wears me out!. currently in my ac'd office, at least for a couple of hours.

Not even lying I fell asleep one day last week watching an hour long documentary on the design process and philosophy of the original Lexus LS car.

tl;dr drunk driver lost control on a straight road and plowed into a parked car then spun around on our front lawn and landed where I was parked hours before moving my car. He had no insurance and the car wasn't his!

But our wood fence was rotting and flaking and looked horrible which the landlord didn't feel like fixing so now we get a new fence >:)

Next time I go I'm going to a beach without flies! Maybe I should go to LBI for a first time or just go to AC

there was flies. I got bit twice. one even drew blood. I heard the wind direction has an impact on the presence of flies.

Barnegat Light on LBI was our go to beach growing up, less families than the rest of the island

i'm working in a condo about 500 yards from the shore (OC MD) right now (wife is on beach, someone needs to pay the bills here). Weather is great. As far as beach radios and songs go....man its such a hot issue. The debate between liking music, and the problem when someone busts out a radio nearby and you're trying to nap or chill and their choice in music sucks...

I feel you, Unoclay, reminds me of most commercial radio stations playing the same stuff everyday, even when you request different songs that are rare, lol

thankfully yesterday the gent who decided to hit the beach with super loud bluetooth speakers was A: a block away from us, and B: playing reasonably ok music. But its that "tragedy of the commons" situation where one person's rudeness infects an area. And then it fights the punk rock side of me who is like "F the squares, turn it up man!"

IS THAT FREEDOM ROCK?

Thankfully I never had to deal with an annoying beach neighbor like that, and I usually have earbuds on.
