The Bobbyteens are one of those Bay Area garage groups that never came to this coast, though I noticed Tina drumming for Hunx & His Punx at the Cake Shop in 2011 (nearly two decades after I saw her in the Trashwomen at Maxwell's).

@Rob - I agree. And @David - I didn't realize they were connected! Hunx et al are playing this weekend at Mosswood Meltdown in Oakland!

Confirmed at least 2 Clamato bands. Also a great Big Drill Car song.

The first time I saw Man or Astro-man? (1993) they were opening for the Woggles! No big movie screens then. Just portable TV sets that each played a different tokusatsu show.
