Our neighbor's kid made pasta puttanesca for us all last night and the kid made a delicious red lentil / sweet potato / spinach curry the day prior. Both were treats esp. since I didn't have to do a thing!

@Richard, the veggie burgers tonight were Dr. Praeger knockoffs from Lidl. Decent enough. Not the most amazing but certainly enhanced by a wide assortment of quality condiments.

They were on sale and in a box of 12 so good to have in reserve for nights like this where we were all coming / going / on the radio.

Richard, good question. I prefer the fake meat sausages to fake hamburgers. Spicy Tofurky + Field Roast are faves there.

Like, Impossible is good (especially with lots of stuff on it) but sort of tastes the same throughout.

I know @Brian is a big fan of Luhv burgers...

Thumbs up on Field Roast! I float between Impossible on the grill (tho loose ones are hard to handle until cooked) and veggie burgers that hold no pretense of actually being meat.

Had a very good veggie burger at a spot in Newtown, PA recently b/c there was different stuff happening in each bite...

I love veggie burgers that go heavy in the onions 💙 whatever kind Trenton Thunder stadium used to serve
