Ah, so you're here, Sonny! The main page has Stitching Pink scheduled for now.

She had a conflict so I'm on this week!

Good morning, SBW III ✨ Another excellent rendition of Lift Every Voice and Sing.
TAndy 10:10:42 AM
Big love to DJ Stitching Pink, and big ups DJ SBW-III! Happy Juneteenth week everyone ♥️
Richard from Rocky Hill 10:10:48 AM
@ Sonny Boy III (host) Good morning, SBW3. I'm glad of your Juneteenth celebration, which continues my education in African-American music. I will admit to never having previously heard the wonderful Manhattan Harmony Four. Oh my! Not only the tremendous quality of their voices but how they structured the chords their harmonies created. I'll definitely check them out and collection The Earliest Negro Vocal Groups from which you took their stellar version of "Life Every Voice and Sing."
Sonny Boy III (host) 10:14:10 AM
Morning everyone! Glad you enjoyed it Richard :) this may be one of the earliest versions waxed -- 1923.
Sonny Boy III (host) 10:14:31 AM
(if not the earliest -- added to the National Recording Registry in 2016)

David Shortell 10:37:01 AM
Oh, is that today, TAndy? That must be why the Movies! Channel is showing “Grand Prix”.
Sonny Boy III (host) 10:37:02 AM
My pleasure Paul, and likewise
TAndy 10:37:13 AM
@SBW3: A bit, mostly just clips of people arriving and leaving at a famous turn, and highlighting some of the neat vehicles rolling through
TAndy 10:37:41 AM
@David unfortunately no cable hookup in my place :(
TAndy 10:41:39 AM
I usually just watch clips from the YouTube channel "Auto Addiction". I also checked my subs and saw something DTO would enjoy: The channel "Boiler Room" which usually streams Techno, House, and Disco DJ sets, is streaming live performances of music I would normally hear on Sangeet!
Richard from Rocky Hill 10:56:03 AM
@ Sonny Boy III (host) Ha! Howlin' Wolf's "300 Pounds of Joy" from The Definitive Collection is the definitive self advertisement. Howl on, Mr. Wolf!
Sonny Boy III (host) 11:03:54 AM

Sonny Boy III (host) 11:09:57 AM
Skip James mentions "the Nation and the Territory" in Hard Luck child. These are the two parts of what is now the state of Oklahoma.
David Shortell 11:21:32 AM
That was a sequel to the Blind Blake song that informed Zap #1’s cover illustration of “Mr. Natural Visits the City” (a scene not actually featured in the comic!).
Sonny Boy III (host) 11:22:08 AM
Bo Diddley and Willie Dixon wrote a song of the same name
TAndy 12:00:30 PM
Thanks for the show!
