A classic Drexel show! A few years before I started there. Ranks up there with Bikini Kill on the top floor of the parking lot, Jello Biafra doing spoken word in one of the event halls, and Dinosaur Jr in a small room next to the cafeteria.

I got to see Violent Femmes there my freshman year. Less exciting but still cool.

some student had their booking a show chops dialed in at that moment. so many good shows. I was only 14 or 15 at the time. my dad drove us.

I still love that chester named his show and played totally wired every week

The Bikini Kill flyer - with a clear WKDU logo on it - is in the Kathleen Hannah documentary and you better believe I flipped out when I saw it on the screen

Also the Biafra monologue about the Challenger blowing up from No More Cocoons was taken from the Drexel appearance. Yes, I know way too much Drexel-related music trivia.
