Yes, horrific stuff! I'm fairly young (34), in good cardiovascular shape, triple vaxxed and it took me right out. Grateful for Paxlovid and the vaccine or I think I would be another person added to the 1+ million dead in the USA

Too much information alert! I believe I had the early iteration of the virus in November 2019! Only gastrointestinal and no respiratory issues. One of the ways I would describe how I felt would be that I was very extremely tired and I felt as if I would go to sleep and die. Yet I would wake up and more black stuff would come out of me. And then back to sleep! Oooffff. Too much information alert! Too gross; might delete later.

My husband had a high fever and body aches, my kids both had high fever and coughing but they all seemed to bounce back quickly

Any new variants are not covered by any vaccine or booster. Gotta keep our “bubbles” small to keep ourselves safe!

he's correct that the protection isn't as strong as against covid the original. We do keep a very small circle but my husband works with large rooms of people and his employer ended their mask mandate. Even with a strong mask, the viral load was too high

DSM maybe you assumed more information than what my message was about. I swear by vaccines. My point was stay your arse to your house to keep from getting and spreading new variations. Or keep your mask on despite no mandates. Government wants the “economy to be open” cuz lock downs were causing too many financial problems for them and etcétera.
