a friend of mine, last name O'connor, started dating a woman, her first name Sinead. I gave him the slightest glance when i was introduced to her. and he yelled at me, too much pressure! too early!!

the video is so good, for the same reasons "nothing compares 2 u" is a great video (sinead's amazing expressive face)

She gave no fucks on SNL. She is an asswipe, but that took balls.

I already opened a tab with the vid for later, I never seen it.

Greetings from Dublin, Ireland, Dana. This is fantastic. I knew Cathal and wrote his obituary for today's edition of The Irish Times. He'd love this. If you're looking for track suggestions: Ans, Blues for Ceausescu and Behind the Moon. But really, you could throw a stone at his catalogue and always be pretty confident of hitting a great song.

We don't have anything like this in Ireland, Dana - radio here is strictly commercial franchises, no college radio. Back when Microdisney were starting out, things were a lot better - there were pirate stations that had rock shows at night that gave a generation of Irish bands - including U2 - their first exposure.

michael, i know it's similar in the UK as well re: radio - i did my graduate degree in glasgow and had a show on their college station which i was surprised to discover was strictly online. i'm glad college radio still has a place here in the US.

Dana, this is an amazing collection of songs. I’ve been sad about Cathal’s death, but he has left behind an amazing discography. The art will live on.
