@ Commie Francis (host) Re: the abortion controversy: Why is the following strong point not being made? There are indeed people who are genuinely "pro life" and are horrified at developing babies being terminated by abortion. BUT there are also multitudes who believe that unwanted pregnancy is God's punishment for sex outside marriage. To them, allow abortion (or contraception) and you let "sinners" off the hook. Why does the pro-choice side not bring this up?

i think the pro choice side does bring that up. the answer to that is pretty simple - separation of church and state.

@ Commie Francis (host) And -- in fairness -- does everyone on the "pro choice" side work energetically to make sure people explore and EXERCISE their choices (especially in contraception) so that abortion becomes a last result?

i actually played a song that addressed that but they didn't annunciate very well

well i mean yes, the pro choice side is the one trying to make sure people don't get pregnant when they don't want to be, generally

the pro life side is, generally speaking, trying to make contraception unavailable as well

The Pro Choice side actively fights for easy access to birth control and sex education, naturally.

as well as any kind of support for people who do carry children to term
