oh no!

I was listening on stream at ShopRite and heard it all the same. It's not detracting much but it's a bit more noticable than record groove pops and crackles

I'm listening in my head via my fillings

the only thing ive changed is using a focusrite now, i hope that's not the cause, will play around after the show and investigate

I'm not sure how that would make any impact aside from an audio driver? If it's driver related you would hear it on your end outside of the stream

that shouldnt affect the music since it's only a change to my mic setup not the source of my music

yeah hearing it... i dunno why but ive grown to distrust focusrites...

If that's the case then maybe it could be something related to the program you're using to stream the music

You could compare the settings you're using to the settings any other DJ may be using with a similar setup as yours

Yeah i'll investigate, maybe next week go back to my old setup and see if that fixes things

Or maybe even something related to bitrate. I'm pretty sure the station streams at 96k since that is what VLC reports when I look at the stream info.
