Always appreciative of his and your shows, Dave. Marvin as well, you guys are the most "serious" DJs with such a vast repertoire for the respective genres you present. Although Phil Jackson isn't on schedule this season, I love his show for the same reason.

I got to hear about an hour of Mike Hunter's tribute last Friday. I think that hour was all one piece.

Definitely missing Mickey Sprawl this season. Tim with Scratchy Vinyl has had some subs. As well as Pat Clamour Club. Missing them too. Love the space they occupy in the wprb pie charts

I was telling my daughter about how Dave the Obscure adds this great info about each artist.

I find these extras help put the music in better context, and aids in appreciation. But it is extra effort, and hard to fit all that in during a live broadcast, especially if the songs are short, and the chat is busy.

Many good reads out there regarding Zappa's Läther. He went on a CA fm radio station and played his entire intended release of it back in 1977. A way to get it out there. Record labels... Then a few years after he left us we finally got the official release from Rykodisc which is basically what he intended.
