Yeah Ry Cooder did a brief stint in the Magic Band. Ry has a new one out collab lp with his old band mate Taj Mahal honoring the great Sonny Terry & Brownie McGhee.

The Kerouac spoken word On The Road talking about Slim Gaillard and others had a bit on Wine Spodee Odee. That definition was 3 shots possibly mixed or lined up in a row where 2 shots of wine bookended the middle shot of the harsher whisky
