Penn State cafeteria used to serve "Welsh Rarebit". No tuna thankfully. Open faced thick toast with a "well" in it and thick cheese "gravy" poured on it. It was plain but actually not bad. I couldn't understand why it was a main course but.... at least it did not have canned tuna

@Brian D, my college cafeteria was really bad at ttimes. It used to have "mystery meat". Once or twice it had "mystery food", like we couldn't tell if it was animal or plant

The coveted meal was the Chicken Cosmo. Breaded chicken sandwich. They did have some good food.. some bland institutional too as expected. Aggie college originally , PSU. Ice cream they did that well.
