Morning!
VT-ALL 7:15:21 AM
As a percussionist, the marimba and vibes are two of my favorite instruments
Marvin Rosen (host) 7:17:29 AM
This is a really super piece!!
Brian D 7:22:21 AM
Vibraphone piece was lovely! I'd pick that as a morning alarm tone! Gently wake up to greet the day
Michael Hall 8:19:19 AM
Thank you for playing music from Indonesia. There are some many wonderful composers residing in Indonesia that deserve far more attention and programming on stage.
Christine 🦉 8:30:07 AM
This Krakatoa Violin Concerto is tremendous!
J Heartonastick 8:54:57 AM
Hooray. One of my favorite discoveries from your show was Lee Go Woon's "Dotgabi-gut (Korean Goblin) for Sinawi." Regularly revisit that on YouTube.
J Heartonastick 8:56:56 AM
So more Lee always welcome.
Marvin Rosen (host) 9:16:37 AM
Thank you all for you kind comments!! We have literally thousands of living composers who deserve more exposure!!
Patrick White 9:27:22 AM

Marvin Rosen (host) 9:41:52 AM
I may strike out with that one!! LOL
Richard from Rocky Hill 9:42:51 AM
@ Marvin Rosen (host) Thanks from me, too for "In Praise of Woman." How much wonderful music would go unheard by so many without Classical Discoveries!
Richard from Rocky Hill 9:52:48 AM
@ Marvin Rosen (host) A question about a towering talent (although not now living): Have you played much by Pauline Viardot (1821-1910)? The French-Spanish mezzo-soprano, hugely respected teacher and also a tremendous pianist-composer praised by Liszt (with whom she'd studied), Chopin (with whom she often played duets) and Saint-Saens.
Richard from Rocky Hill 9:55:09 AM
@ Marvin Rosen (host) I confess, I only just learned about her from reading an article about the great Russian novelist Ivan Turgenev, who was passionately in love with her. (It's not clear to what extent she reciprocated.)
Richard from Rocky Hill 9:56:05 AM
@ Marvin Rosen (host) If you run out of Chat reply time, send me an email at your leisure. Thanks.
Christine 🦉 9:56:45 AM
Thank you, Marvin 🙏
